Most conventional gums list "Gum Base" as an ingredient. That means it can contain artificial substances like synthetic plastic. We use chicle instead, a sustainable tree sap that we source from Central America.

Our founder, Caron, started Simply gum in 2014 after she discovered that regular chewing gum is filled with artificial ingredients. She started making batches of gum in her NYC apartment & sold the first Simply Gum products in stores throughout Manhattan.
GOOD INGREDIENTS ONLY
Here is some of the synthetic stuff that may be in conventional gum: polyisobutylene, polyvinyl acetate, and butylated hydroxytoluene. You won't find these substances - or anything else like them - in our gum.

United StatesI wanted to love this. The flavor doesn't last long and the gum is really sticky. As in, little bits of the gum stuck to my teeth as I was chewing instead of being a cohesive, chewy blob. I hope they improve their formula because I love the idea of this gum, but until then no more for me

I appreciate the attempt to have a healthy gum option. I was very disappointed that the flavor does not last very long. As others have said, lucky it lasts a minute. Unfortunately, I will not repurchase due to the lack of flavor and the length of the flavor being so short.

A great replacement for typical gum brands. I enjoy the texture of this more, its softer and causes me less jaw soreness if I chew for a long time. The only downside is that the flavor doesn't last as long but I expected that going in and I can actually chew one piece of this far longer than other brands without it being an issue.
