Most conventional gums list "Gum Base" as an ingredient. That means it can contain artificial substances like synthetic plastic. We use chicle instead, a sustainable tree sap that we source from Central America.

FEMALE FOUNDED IN NYC

Our founder, Caron, started Simply gum in 2014 after she discovered that regular chewing gum is filled with artificial ingredients. She started making batches of gum in her NYC apartment & sold the first Simply Gum products in stores throughout Manhattan.

GOOD INGREDIENTS ONLY

Here is some of the synthetic stuff that may be in conventional gum: polyisobutylene, polyvinyl acetate, and butylated hydroxytoluene. You won't find these substances - or anything else like them - in our gum.

NO MORE CANKER SORES!

Thank you so much for coming up with this gum! it has been many years since I have tried chewing gum again. Once I learned it was one of the sources of my canker sores I quit chewing gum. It was difficult to say the least. I had a piece of gum in my mouth at all times! But I also had canker sores most of the time as well. This gum is fantastic! I cannot say enough good things about it! THANK YOU SO MUCH! (Target has the peppermint and cleanse)

Good but soft

Tastes great. I get it to work my jaw lightly, but it's a little on the soft side. Biggest gripe is too much non-compostable packaging. Would love to be able to buy in bulk.
