Most conventional gums list "Gum Base" as an ingredient. That means it can contain artificial substances like synthetic plastic. We use chicle instead, a sustainable tree sap that we source from Central America.

Our founder, Caron, started Simply gum in 2014 after she discovered that regular chewing gum is filled with artificial ingredients. She started making batches of gum in her NYC apartment & sold the first Simply Gum products in stores throughout Manhattan.
GOOD INGREDIENTS ONLY
Here is some of the synthetic stuff that may be in conventional gum: polyisobutylene, polyvinyl acetate, and butylated hydroxytoluene. You won't find these substances - or anything else like them - in our gum.

Bought this at Target just wanted to try something new. After the first couple of chews the flavor is gone. Wish the flavor was stronger and lasted longer in the gum.

I have LOVED all of the Simply Gum products for a long time. It is fun to mix and match the flavors, which last a long time, and some are just outstanding. I especially love the Cleanse formula and flavor. I have some every day and feel great about it. I especially love the sustainable packaging and the the fact that the gum is composable. I have been putting it and the wraps into my compost for a long time and they totally incorporate into the compost. Thanks to Simply for creating and continuing to provide a mindful product

United StatesGood gum but not what I’m looking for
If you want gum with flavor and easy to chew this is good. What I’m looking for is just something to chew without artificial or “natural” (yes I understand real ingredients are used) whatever taste. I have to mix this with mastic gum to get the texture I’m looking for. I’d do mastic gum itself but it’s too inconsistent so mixing with this works well. What simply is advertising vs the product id give 4 stars because only thing is it lasts but it’s too soft even with multiple pieces. just wish they’d consider making something that’s, just gum
