Most conventional gums list "Gum Base" as an ingredient. That means it can contain artificial substances like synthetic plastic. We use chicle instead, a sustainable tree sap that we source from Central America.

Our founder, Caron, started Simply gum in 2014 after she discovered that regular chewing gum is filled with artificial ingredients. She started making batches of gum in her NYC apartment & sold the first Simply Gum products in stores throughout Manhattan.

GOOD INGREDIENTS ONLY

Here is some of the synthetic stuff that may be in conventional gum: polyisobutylene, polyvinyl acetate, and butylated hydroxytoluene. You won't find these substances - or anything else like them - in our gum.

SIMPLY GUM Spearmint (and Bubble Gum). 55 pc. 3 pack bundle.

I was delighted with the cost. It is a fantastic bargain. It arrived in a very reasonable amount of time. I'm highly content that all SIMPLY GUM products are natural. They are made from chicle, not plastic, like all the other products I know of. My health is exceedingly important to me. They are certified vegan and non-GMO. All the other gums I have seen and tried are made from plastic and GMOs and contain artificial sweeteners, which have been associated with many health problems, including autoimmune diseases, microbiome issues, etc. I am dissatisfied that the packages don't have plastic on the individual packages. The bundles were the only things that were wrapped. Once you open a bundle to chew a piece, no plastic protection keeps the gum fresh. I was also dissatisfied with the length of time the gum remained flavored. But with the low-calorie count, you can't expect the flavor to last for an extended period. I also ordered Bubble gum flavor. My review applies to both. (The Bubble Gum contains no sugar, which is even better.)
